Nestled on confidential forestland, sierra resort hotel hakuba provides comfort and splendor after a day's activities on the slopes, trails or at local attractions.Come relax in our outdoor hotsprings; stroll around our manicured grounds; indulge yourself in our award-winning cuisine; take advantage of our limousine service to the slopes and scenic mountain scenery; bask in the local flavor of the shinshyu area. Our guest rooms are laid out in two wings; east and west; containing suite rooms and twin/doubles respectively. The wings are separated by landscaped lawns, ponds and connected by wooden walkways. Hakubas focal location makes it a mecca for japanese outdoor sports lovers in all seasons. Only recently discovered on the map of numerous foreign travelers, hakuba remains quaintly japanese. Of choosy note in the greenish season are local cultural activities. In winter, aside from the immense snow levels, foreign visitors to hakuba find numerous festivals and nearby temples well worth a days jaunt away from the ski fields. Sierra resort is the only hotel in hakuba to have dedicated, direct-feed uncomplicated hot spring water. Mineral-rich and warranted clean.It does a body good.Our volcanic spring bubbles a soft greenish fountain of youth with only a mild sulfuric smell; not a heavy vapor. The conventional japanese onsen experience is total with views into deep forest right from the baths. .
